📝 Ingredients

  • Egg – 2 pcs
  • Flour (maida) – 1 cup
  • Semolina (suji) – ½ cup
  • Sugar – ½ cup (or as needed)
  • Milk – 1 cup (lukewarm)
  • Baking powder – ½ tsp
  • Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Oil – for deep frying

🔪 Preparation Method

  1. Prepare Batter

    • Beat the eggs well in a bowl.
    • Add sugar and whisk until dissolved.
    • Mix in milk, flour, suji, baking powder, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt.
    • Stir well until smooth (like pancake batter, not too thin).
    • Cover and rest for 20–30 minutes.
  2. Frying Pitha

    • Heat oil in a deep pan on medium flame.
    • Pour batter slowly with a spoon or hand (small round shapes).
    • Fry until golden brown and puffed up.
    • Take out and drain excess oil.
